I just wanted to take a moment and thank all of you that spend the time to read this blog.
I know that there is a lot out there on the Internet, and I hope what you find on this blog is encouraging to you.

Raquel Manning and her husband Jacob Manning, have served faithfully with the Music Ministry at Grace Community Church for a little over a year now. They are both very talented musically (Raquel sings, and Jacob plays some mean guitar), and they both, more importantly, love the Lord.
Raquel will be initially focusing mainly on our "The Story Behind" section of A Worship Leaders Blog.
The whole mission behind this blog is to have a central place for anyone involved in the music portion of worship to go to for encouragement, growth, and resources for their ministry.
One big part of leading music at a church is the song selection. Knowing who the author is, what they stand for, and what the story behind the song they wrote plays a big role in it's selection. Being able to have all of this information then allows you to compare it to God's word, our only source of truth, and in turn make your decision as to whether → Continue
