In this song, Laura Story does a great job capturing the indescribable nature of God. Although words will never be able to capture God's greatness, thankfully there are those who try to put it together in a song like this. Here is the story behind this song as well. Enjoy!

Do you really think that God would leave you stranded during the roughest times of your life?
Read the passage below from James 4, and think about what your approach to God and your trials should be.
Realize that God will lift you up, and give grace to those who humble themselves before Him, even in the darkest valley.
"But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you."

This past Sunday at church, we had an awesome time of worship. From the time we got to sing to our King, to when learned from God's word about the kingdom of God being "predictable" (although it starts as the size of a mustard seed, we know that it will prevail and provide shelter to all those who trust in Him!), God used the whole morning to help us stay focused on His everlasting Kingdom!

How often do we take a step back and really think about why it is that God deserves all the glory and honor and praise in our lives?
Take a moment today to think about the One true God, that none can compare with, and thank Him for all the many blessings He has put in your life.

This song has been very encouraging to me lately. As men (meaning it in the "mankind" sorta way haha), we naturally want to do things our own way, and we want to get it done on our time.
But here's what we forget…
This song has always been a good one for me to get my heart right.
